About Scott Park

Patchway Town Council owns and maintains Norman Scott Park, which is named after the first Chairman of the Council. In 2013 the park was registered as a Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Field.

The park has a children’s play area with accessible equipment, a skateboard area, a picnic area, copses planted for wildlife as well as three football pitches, a cricket pitch, twin-lane cricket net facility and a fully floodlit all year round 3G training pitch.

The park has a large car park for over 60 cars and public toilets including a fully accessible toilet.

Patchway Town Council owns all of the land in Scott Park and are always seeking opportunities

to improve this space for all of our residents.

No dogs - except assistance dogs - are allowed into Norman Scott Park under the byelaw dated 8/11/1985 (Section 164 of the Public Health Act 1875). Please be respectful of all users of Norman Scott Park and abide by this byelaw. In 2025, Patchway Town Council will be partnering with South Gloucestershire Council on full enforcement of the byelaw including issuing of fixed penalty notices. Dog owners are welcome to exercise their dogs at our other fantastic large, green spaces at The Tumps and Gorse Covert.

Food and drink at Scott Park

Patchway Town Council offers a great selection of food and drink within Scott Park through Snack Attacks at The Park at the Norman Scott Park Pavilion. We also host other vendors in the Park at other times to offer variety for residents through our community events programme and our Street Food Festival (June to September).
