Patchway Town Council have awarded their two final grants of the 2023/2024 financial year by funding two local Patchway groups with a total of £500.
£250 has been awarded to Southern Brooks Community Partnerships to run workshops for local school children on the theme of Diwali and £250 has been awarded to Mamas Bristol for their Winter Warmer goody bags.
On the funding, Mayor of Patchway, Cllr Dayley Lawrence stated that ‘I am so proud that the Council has chosen to award two local groups, firmly embedded in Patchway, to run projects that will assist all people within our community. The investment of £1700 back into our local community through our community grants scheme shows that the Council values local groups and appreciates the diverse range of activities on offer’.
