On Friday 20th October, Lovell Place Care home in Charlton Hayes, put on a ‘Pink Ladies Night’ in aid of Breast Cancer Now.
Within this amazing event there was music, entertainment, beauty treatments, local stalls and EVEN a chocolate fountain.
Local residents packed the place and a cracking time for all was had.
Mayor of Patchway, Cllr Dayley Lawrence, was lucky enough to be invited as a ‘VIP’ had this to say on the event, “I take my hat off to all of the staff who have made this wonderful event possible, raising money for such a vital cause. It is so lovely to see so many smiling faces and people having fun, that’s what fundraising is all about. It has been a thoroughly enjoyable evening and I hope a lot of money has been raised for this cause”.
