South Gloucestershire Council have advised of temporary temporary closures and turning restrictions on A38 Gloucester Road North, Gloucester Road & Gipsy Patch Lane. These restrictions are required in connection with concrete testing works. These works are anticipated to occupy the highway on 10/06/24 – 25/06/24 between 20:00 – 06:00 only.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED)
SECTION 14 (2)
Notice is hereby given that the South Gloucestershire Council in pursuance of the
provisions contained within the above Act will for a period of up to 21 Days commencing
on 10th June 2024
prohibit any Vehicle proceeding along:
Gloucester Road, Patchway – northbound on slip road, left turn from Royal Mail onto
A38 and right hand turn from southbound off slip road under flyover
AND
Suspension of Right Hand Turn from Gipsy Patch Lane onto A38 Northbound on Slip
Road
The above restriction is necessary because concrete testing works are being executed on
or near the carriageway consequent upon which is the need to avoid danger to road users,
and the operatives engaged upon the works and serious damage to the road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE
The Alternative Route for vehicles is via Southbound on slip road, A38 southbound,
Filton roundabout, A38 northbound
