Patchway Town Council is delighted to welcome Suzanne Howard as the new Town Clerk for the Council this week.
Suzanne joins the team from Clevedon Town Council where she has undertaken a number of roles across 14 years most recently as Deputy Clerk and Acting Proper Officer.
Sue holds a Certificate of Higher Education (CertHE), the Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA) and is a member of the Society of Local Council Clerks (MSLCC).
Patchway Town Council Locum Clerk Jack Turner will continue to work alongside Sue through a period of transition into September.
Sue said,’ I am excited to be joining Patchway Town Council and am looking forward to leading the team and working with all our Councillors and partners’.
Mayor of Patchway Cllr Dayley Lawrence said,’ On behalf of the whole of Patchway Town Council, I am delighted to welcome Suzanne as our new Town Clerk, and we all look forward to carrying on the fantastic work of the Council with Sue’s leadership.’
The Mayor also said, ‘The Council would also like to express its deep thanks and gratitude to Jack Turner for his seven years with Patchway Town Council including three years as Town Clerk. Jack leaves a brilliant legacy at Patchway’.
