Patchway Town Council are delighted to announce that they have received a positive External Audit report from the Town Council’s External Auditor, BDO LLP.
The auditor has raised no ‘except for’ matters and they have no concerns in which the Town Council operates.
Mayor of Patchway, Cllr Dayley Lawrence commented ‘This is a positive result for our Town Council. We have been assured by both our Internal Auditor and External Auditor that there are no matters arising from our financial and process procedures for the previous financial year and this is testament to the hard work that Patchway Town Council staff and Councillors have put in to ensure the Council remains at the forefront of delivery exceptional service and transparency at all times’.
At the meeting of Patchway Town Council on 10th October 2023 it was unanimously agreed to give a vote of thanks to all of the Town Council staff and members who assisted with the audit process in 2022/2023.
