Patchway Town Council is delighted to present local resident Jen Whittle with a Patchway Community Award for her voluntary support at the Throwback Festival at Norman Scott Park on 20th July 2024.
Jen spent much of the day walking the festival site with her trusty litter-picking kit and ensuring the Park was kept clean and tidy for all the festival goers and residents enjoying the day. The rain did not deter Jen who carried on throughout, and also moved through the large marquees collecting litter for residents sheltering from the showers.
Mayor of Patchway Cllr Dayley Lawrence said, ‘Thank you to Jen for all her brilliant support and help on Saturday. I witnessed Jen’s fantastic efforts that helped keep the Park so clean and tidy for everyone in our community. The Council is pleased to present you with this award!’.
