Patchway Town Council awards students at Callicroft Primary Academy and Coniston Primary School

Patchway Town Council is delighted to have presented three fantastic awards at Coniston Primary School and Callicroft Primary Academy on 12th July 2024.

Patchway Twinning Awards are awarded in recognition of outstanding achievement in Modern Foreign Languages; and Jayden Hunt in Year 6 at Coniston Primary School has been awarded the Patchway Twinning Award 2024 for his exceptional effort and consistency in using the Duolingo Spanish learning app to further his knowledge in the language.

Skye Newman in Year 6 at Callicroft Primary Academy has been awarded the Patchway Twinning Award for her enthusiasm, commitment, interest and commitment to learning a new language. Skye is keen to take French into secondary school so she can improve and maybe speak fluently one day.

Patchway Town Council is delighted to make awards to residents for their community endeavours, and the Council has been thrilled to present Jax Dady from Callicroft Primary Academy with a Patchway Community Award for his lemonade stall that has so far raised a whopping £197 for the National Autistic Society.

Mayor of Patchway, Cllr Dayley Lawrence said,’ All three of these young people at our local primary schools have shown how amazing they are in learning and their commitment to our community. It is fantastic that this town has such brilliant people who have deserved the Council’s recognition. Congratulations!’.
