Patchway Town Council awards £1200 in first round of Community Grants

Patchway Town Council are pleased to announce that they have funded £1200 to local groups as part of their grant awarding process.


Each year, Patchway Town Council provides grants that benefit our local community and residents.


The recipients of the July round of grants can be seen below.


North Bristol Rugby Club have been awarded £500 to support their STAR Scheme which aims to makes a difference to the lives of young people who are suffering or have suffered adverse childhood experiences through rugby and sport.


Patchway Cricket Club have been awarded £250 towards a new boundary rope to support the thriving Junior teams who play on different size pitches.


The Foundation for Community Engagement (FACE) Charity have been awarded £250 to fund new resources and equipment for young people of Patchway at their new home at Patchway Youth Centre.


Stay & Play at Coniston Community Centre have been awarded £200 towards a programme to provide activities for babies and pre-school children and their carers.


We will hear more about how these grants from Patchway Town Council have supported these groups, and look forward to more applications for round two over the summer.
