Patchway’s younger residents got crafty at the Community Hub in July as our Summer Crafts mornings took place at the Casson Centre on Rodway Road with all sorts of creative activities taking place over the two sessions.
Accompanied by parents and guardians who had as much fun, if not more than the young people, craft activities included painting wooden animals, decorating jars, paper craft, creating collages and lots of other wonderful creations from the Community Hub craft store.
Over the two mornings, 45 children and 20 adults participated with a buzzing atmosphere the whole time. Summer Crafts was led and hosted by local artist Katie Hanning, and Cllr Roger Loveridge, Cllr Jenny James, Cllr Angela Morey from Patchway Town Council, and local volunteers.
All children who attended took away a free lunch bag courtesy of Snack Attacks in the Park.
Summer Crafts at the Community Hub was an initiative from Patchway Town Council for the Community Hub.
