Patchway Town Council were saddened to hear of the passing of the former Chairman of Filton Town Council, Darryl Collins.
Darryl was part of many working groups between Patchway and Filton and played an integral part in the running of Filton Town Council. A lot of our Councillors were close personal friends and is a loss that is felt across the Town Council.
The Mayor of Patchway, Cllr Dayley Lawrence was So very sorry to hear that Cllr Darryl Collins former chairman of Filton Town Council passed away last night. Cllr Lawrence said ”Darryl was such a sweet man who dedicated so much of his time residents of Filton. He would help anyone. I will really miss his infectious smile. A great loss to the Labour Party, Local Government and the people of Filton. RIP my friend”
