Norman Scott Park Pavilion - Redevelopment Update

Patchway Town Council are pleased to share with the residents, the revised plans for the Norman Scott Park Pavilion redevelopment project. The revised plans now feature a one storey building, but is still fully equipped with all of the same facilities such as the community café and four changing rooms for our sports teams. There will be a small office which will house Patchway Town Council staff too. There is a considerable amount of working going on in the background, to achieve this project for the residents and we hope to provide more information as the project moves along.

Mayor of Patchway, Councillor Jon Butler, had this to say on the project:

‘Due to the effect that COVID-19 has had on the building trade, we have had to revise our scheme accordingly for this project by losing the top floor and balcony. However, we have managed to house the same facilities in the revised scheme as well as creating a terrace area at the front of the Pavilion. We, as a Town Council, along with our professional services are dedicated to ensuring that this project continues to move along despite all of the challenges we have faced in the last 12 months. We want a building that Patchway can be proud of and we are committed to delivering that’.
