National Moment of Reflection

On Sunday 18th September 2022 at 8pm, Patchway Town Council would like all residents to stand on their doorstep and take part in the National Moment of Reflection to mourn the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and reflect on her life and legacy.

The National Moment of Reflection will take place at 8pm on Sunday 18 September, the night before the State Funeral, and be marked by a one-minute silence.

For Patchway, we are encouraging residents to gather in their streets to mark this national moment. Residents are encouraged to stand outside and gather from 19:55 with friends, family and neighbours. The national minute silence will take place at 8pm and should be followed by all saying 'God Save The King' then proceeding to sing the National Anthem.

Any residents who take part on their own or as part of a larger group are encouraged to share their images and memories to Patchway Town Council via email to office@patchwaytowncouncil.gov.uk
