At the meeting of Patchway Town Council on July 19th 2022, it was agreed by all Councillors to elect two Patchway charities to be beneficiaries of Patchway Town Council's Mayoral Charity Fund for the Civic Year 2022/2023.
The charities were selected by the Mayor of Patchway, Cllr Dayley Lawrence and they will now benefit from donations from Council events as well as a small fund from Patchway Town Council.
The charities for this Civic Year are the Second Patchway Scout Group and The Link Club.
Mayor of Patchway, Cllr Dayley Lawrence, said this on the election of charities, "I am very grateful to my fellow Councillors for electing these two very worthy charities to be beneficiaries of the Mayor's Charity scheme that we have at Patchway Town Council. Throughout the year, we will now be collecting donations for these charities which really benefit our local community."
