Mayor of Patchway, Cllr Dayley Lawrence attend the Bristol Jets BMX club Annual Awards Presentation at Patchway Labour Club on 7th October 2023. The evening celebrated awards for the Winter and Summer series racing as well as the annual awards.
In a sign of the diversity across the Club, awards were given to all whether they are just starting out in BMX racing or competing at National and International events. Annual Awards were given to Best Newcomer, Most Improved 10 and Under, Most Improved 11+, Riders Rider, and Committees Rider as well as Certificates for Riders of the Day at the South West Regional Series.
Cllr Lawrence said,’ It was brilliant to join these fantastic riders of all ages in celebrating their success at regional and national level. The Jets are an inspiring sports team based in Patchway and we look forward to hearing more great stories in the future!’.
