Mayor of Patchway Cllr Dayley Lawrence attended the 10th Birthday Fun Day for the Foundation for Active Community Engagement (FACE) charity at Patchway Youth Centre on Sunday 11th August.
On the hottest day of the year, there was fun, games, a barbecue, inflatables, the FACE youth bus, DJs, dance, judo, a silent disco, forestry, ice cream, samosas, and much, much more.
As well as many members of the FACE team including Director Debbie Teml and well-known Youth Worker Dawn Young, councillors Jenny James and Toni Scott from Patchway Town Council, and local MP Claire Hazelgrove all joined in the festivities.
Mayor of Patchway Cllr Dayley Lawrence said, ‘It was brilliant to join in the celebrations for such a fantastic local organisation who provide so much for the young people of our town. They also really know how to party. Hats off to everyone involved in a great day!’.
