On Tuesday 7th February 2023, Town Councillors Isobel and Roland Walker presented Carol Small and Jason Gillett of John Lewis with a token of their appreciation for the support offered to the community hub at The Casson Centre.
Carol and Jason have been instrumental in assisting with the community hub with a large donation of Christmas presents, electrical equipment as well as lots of other items since the inception of the hub in October 2022.
Thanks was given to John Lewis for supporting a local scheme whilst providing many beneficial items for the community hub.
On making the presentation, Isobel Walker stated ‘Roland and I went to John Lewis to thank Carol Small and Jason Gillett and the team for the massive support they have given to the community hub. From the huge amount given to help us to set up our kitchen to supporting our families with gifts to give out during our Christmas grotto week and now helping us with the upcoming half term break activities. We really have been blessed to have them on board with us.’
