After School Inflatable Madness Grips Scott Park

Norman Scott Park became a place for INFLATED fun across May as Patchway Town Council in partnership with Snack Attacks, Patchway Sports & Social Club, Bristol Fun for Hire and Mini Concerts brought free after school fun for all the family!

On 12th May, the Super Star Slide bounced this new initiative for residents off with a steady stream of brave punters taking on the challenge and a large queue forming as the evening progressed. Snack Attacks and the Sports & Social Club offered a range of tasty deals and treats including slow-cooked chicken curry and Nana G’s FreakShakes.

So how to top that!

Mamma Mia, okey dokey. Yes, Mario Madness bounced into Scott Park on 18th May with the Mario Obstacle Course a star highlight of the Thursday evening family event for children of all ages, plus a fair few adults taking on the daring feat.

Mini Concerts provided an 80s soundtrack with the brilliant Shelley and Emily getting the mood going as the sun shone down on a packed Scott Park. The guests of honour then arrived with the real* Mario and Luigi meeting the crowds for memorable photos and chat.

Snack Attacks offered chilli rice and nachos alongside special deals, and the Sports and Social Club continued their FreakShake experiments from Nana G.

A number of Patchway Town councillors were seen getting into the party spirit with residents on two evenings when INFLATED egos were welcomed as long as they took on the inflated challenges.

More free after school activities are planned so keep an eye on the Patchway Town Council social media channels and noticeboards.

*Patchway Town Council uses the word ‘real’ in its broadest sense.
